Copies of (old) Sales of Cumbrian Estates.

The following books have all been copied from the original ‘Sales Brochures’ by various Estate Agents in the early 1900s.  My aim is to give an idea of just how these estates had been made up into large estates back then. This was the beginning of some of them being broken up and sold privately.

I have put them on my website now because of the amount of interest that has been shown.  Most have photographs and maps. I have, in three cases put a few together as one group, this is because of the smaller size and as it cost me the same for postage for each book it works out less for you. If you only want one of the books shown I am sure we can arrainge something.

If you are interested in any of my books, and live near Fletchertown, you are welcome to pick a copy up yourself; this will save you £1.50 per book on postage. (As long as you don't go through paypal)  Also if you order more than one book in the same order I will deduct £1 from the postage charge on each of the extra books ordered.

Offers - As I keep my price as reasonable as possible I don't do any offers.

Please note:  I don’t normally post overseas owing to my location.

Brayton Hall Estate

Brayton Hall was the home of Sir Wilfred Lawson, Bart. and his family until the sale of the estate in 1924.

Please note- I have had to change page 33.  I have included two old photo's of Brayton Hall from about 1900.
