The Charm of the Norfolk Broads

Norwich an Official Guide

The official guide to Norwich in about 1975.  The book is in reasonable condition considering it is nearly 40 years old. It gives a History of the area including Archaeological facts right back to the Domesday Book, Church's and buildings and many businesses that were in the city in the 1970s.  Even a look at the Norfolk Broads along with pictures.

A very interesting book if you are into the history of Norwich.

Betws-y-Coed  Mountain Resort

Berws-y-Coed Guide to walks and drives around this part of Wales.  This small book was issued in 1975.  It has drawings and paintings, plans and a map helping you to find your way round.  It is very well put together and in fair condition.

Also there are adverts from the local shops, bags of information even though it was printed nearly 40 years ago, they don't move waterfalls etc!

This must be a rare book now, it was wrtten in about 1970.  By Charles Arthur Hannaford 1887-1972.  If you are interested in the norfolk Broards then this is the book for you.  It is only sixteen pages but they are packed with paintings and stories of places to visit, in other words it is a Souvenir, in all, over threequarters of a million copies of Charles publications were sold during his lifetime, so that shows how much his work was appreciated.  This copy is in a reasonable condition and I would think that it is something that is hard to replace nowadays.
